Shannon Beck Taliaferro's Obituary
Shannon Beck Taliaferro, 47, of 1021 East Main Street passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Taliaferro was born October 18, 1964 in Roanoke.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, James T. and Linda P. Taliaferro of Staunton; a sister, Sue (Taliaferro) Mason and her husband Keith of Staunton; two nieces, Lorianne Mason and Jessica Mason; a nephew, Joshua Mason; step-brother, Daniel Napier and his wife Kristy and step-sister, Jana Cline and her husband Kevin all of Staunton; and a loving friend and neighbor, Shirley McClary of Waynesboro.
Shannon was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann (Beck) Haney; maternal grandparents, Elwood and Carlysle Beck and his paternal grandparents, Harry and Marie Taliaferro.
Shannon was a 1982 graduate of Buffalo Gap High School and attended St. James United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Dennis Taylor.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
