Sara Louise (Alexander) Wagner's Obituary
Sara Louise (Alexander) Wagner, 100, widow of Harper (Chuck) Wagner, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Kings Daughters Heath and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Wagner was born October 15, 1912 in Highland County, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ella Alexander.
Sara graduated from Highland County School, Dunsmore Business College and later received a degree in Nursing.
She was preceded in death by Harper (Chuck) Wagner, a brother Robert, and a granddaughter Gretchen Z Lewis.
She is survived by her three children and spouses: Robert Zimmerman and wife, Angela, Gretchen Ellis and husband, Blair, Charles Alexander Zimmerman, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 9, 2013 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2001 N. Coalter St. Staunton.
The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Legacy Hospice, 11 Parkway Lane, Fishersville, Va. 22939 and Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of her arrangements.
