Sandra Judith (Rohr) Hoecker, 86, of Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Mrs. Hoecker was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 13, 1936 a daughter of the late John and Aleen (Smith) Rohr.

She married her first husband, Gary Mooney in 1960.  Together they lived in Glendale, CA and Manhattan, NY.

She married her second husband Roy Hoecker in 1971.  Together they lived along the Eastern Shore of MD and then in the Shenandoah Valley of VA.

Sandra's life was full of art and creativity.  She loved to write, read, sketch, paint, weave, and garden.  She created beautiful, colorful spaces in which to raise her family.  Sandra was one of the five original owners of Gallery 5 in Chestertown MD, and later in life, volunteered her time at the Page County Public Library and the Waynesboro Public Library.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roy Hoecker of Waynesboro, VA; three children, Max Hoecker (Vanessa) of North Garden, VA, Laura Rediehs (Chris) of Canton, NY and Holly Robertson (Anthony) of Middlebrook, VA; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be private.
