Sandra Lou (Pultz) Stuples, 66, wife of Stanley A. Stuples, of 9606 Maury River Road, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Mrs. Stuples was born on July 13, 1951 in Staunton, a daughter of the late William George and Grace (Bachwell) Pultz.

Sandra was a member of the Elliott Hill United Methodist Church, she enjoyed camping and collecting owl figurines.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 14 years, is a daughter, Dori Beth Hazlett of Vinton; and a sister Carolyn Waggell of Wake Forest, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends anytime at the residence.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Elliott Hill United Methodist Church by Pastor Lucy A. Jackson Hughes.

Burial will follow in the Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Stuples, Martin Stuples, Matt Webb, John Webb, Jason Hinkle, and Matt Wiles.

It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Elliott Hill United Methodist Church, 71 Elliott Hill Lane, Lexington, Virginia 24450.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
