Sally (Kennedy) Minter, 86, wife of Thomas Minter, Jr. of Ramsey Gap Road, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her residence in Goshen.

Mrs. Minter was born in Augusta County, Virginia on June 25, 1935, a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Dorothy K. Kennedy.

Sally was a member of the Goshen Lebanon Presbyterian Church. She retired from Western State Hospital with more than forty years of service in various clerical positions and she enjoyed summer vacations, going to flea markets, and yard sales.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sisters, Peggy Temple and Betty Zane Pence of Craigsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Sally's request there will no visitation.

A private graveside will be held at the Lebanon Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Pam Campbell of Proclaim Ministries.

A special "Thank You" to the Amedisys Home Health Care for their professional medical care and advice, her caregivers, Donna Walton, Julie Minter, Jessica Walker, and members of the family for their support during Sally's last days.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
