RUTH B. MCLAIN

Ruth Audrey (Bartley) McLain, 80 of 500 C Street Staunton, passed away Tuesday morning (January 27, 2009) in the Shenandoah Nursing Home in Fishersville.
Mrs. McLain was born in Augusta County on July 14, 1928, a daughter of the late John Samuel and Geneva (Morgan) Bartley.
She was self-employed as a house keeper.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McLain was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Davis and Doris McHargue.
Ruth is survived by a son, Harold S. McLain, Jr. of Front Royal; one brother, Johnny Bartley of Winchester; two grandsons, Harold S. McLain, II and William E. McLain; and one great-grandchild, Ashland McLain.
Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (January 31, 2009) in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev Harold L. Wade. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of the arrangements.
