Ruth Frances (Frenger) Holley, 78, of Staunton passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in the Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Holley was born on August 27, 1937 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late John W., Sr. and Emma Jane (Clark) Frenger.
Ruth attended Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Swoope and was retired from Houff Trucking. She enjoyed square dancing, riding in a convertible, cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Holley was preceded in death by two brothers, John Frenger and Glenn Frenger; and a grandson, William Ray BJ Nelson.
Surviving is a son, Richard P. Rick Williams and his wife Suzette of San Diego, CA; four daughters, Dixie Lee Cromer of Bridgewater, Theresa Lynn Terrie Cooper of Staunton, Cheryl Jo Richmond of Lexington and Angela Gayle Ollison of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Patricia F. Lamb of MO; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church by Pastor Gary Hodges.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
