Russell Franklin Palmer's Obituary
Russell Franklin Palmer, 83 of 179 Maine Circle passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Palmer was born in Staunton on June 24, 1930, a son of the late Silas Palmer and Mary Potter.
Russell was self-employed and was known for his excellent dry wall work and he loved to fish.
Survivors include a son, Jeremy Palmer and his wife Jessica; four grandchildren Kylie, Michelle, Emily and Jermiah Palmer; a special cousin, Linda (Palmer) Zinkhan; special friends, Peggy Ralston and husband Gary; Sharon Mutherspaw and family and Joseph Green; and many extended family members and other special friends also survive.
A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Faith Christian Church by Pastor Warren Knott.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
