STAUNTON:

Russell Lynn Rusty ORoark, 54 passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He was born September 15, 1956 in Harrisonburg, and was the son of the late Buddy Russell ORoark and Bonnie Jean (Wine) ORoark.
He was a 1974 graduate of Harrisonburg High School where he played baseball and basketball. In 1986 he joined Dean Steel Erection Company, were he was a Safety Coordinator and then became a Project Manager for the company. Rustys passion was spending time with his three children, as well as seeing the evolution of the projects that he had the privilege of managing with Dean Steel. He was also a history buff and his position with Dean Steel afforded him to spend time with his children experiencing the history of the United States as well as the Shenandoah Valley.
Survivors include a son Garin Tyler Russell ORoark of Staunton, two daughters, Ashley Margaret ORoark of Staunton, Raelon Alise ORoark of Mobile, AL,; grandson Liam Alexander Russell ORoark, a sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Michael McNelis of Harrisonburg, two nephews, Chase McNelis of Romney,WVA, Zachary McNelis of Richmond, VA and one great-niece, Delaney McNelis of Romney, WVA and three great-nephews, Jacob McNelis, of Romney,WVA, Palmer and Jackson McNelis of Richmond.VA .
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Coffman Funeral Home at 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Dean, Amanda Dean, Tommy Morris and the Dean Steel family of employees.
The family will receive friends following the service.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
