Ruby W. Wolfe

Ruby Leola (Wright) Boyd Wolfe, 89, formerly of 133 South Waverley Street, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009 in the Augusta Health and Rehabilitation in Fishersville.
Mrs. Wolfe was born October 26, 1919 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Alfonza F. and Ada A. (Moore) Wright.
Ruby was retired as a seamstress from Tommys Pajama Factory with many years of service. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edgar W. Boyd, Jr., her second husband Eugene B. Wolfe, six brothers, Ernest F. Wright, Arthur A. Wright, R. James Wright, Thomas Wright, Harry N. Wright and Bill Wright; four sisters, Lorena W. Bradley, Sarah Dameron, Alma Nuckoles and Kathleen Massey.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond W. Boyd and his wife Diana of Stuarts Draft and Jerry E. Boyd and his wife Debbie of Afton; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn B. Carter and her husband Eric (Rick) of Stuarts Draft; three step-sons, Johnny Wolfe and his wife Jenny of Churchville, Donald Wolfe of Staunton and Scott Wolfe of Verona; six grandchildren, Vickie Gilbert and her husband Marc, Debbie Miller and her husband Marty, Angie Jordan and her husband Cameron, Chris Carter, Robbie Boyd and Katy Boyd; six great-grandchildren, Crystal Melius and her husband Mark, Eric Gilbert, Martin Miller, Morgan Miller, Alexander Jordan and Aiden Jordan.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in Mt. Tabor Cemetery by Rev. William Johns.
