Ruby Virginia (Neff) Knapp, 78, widow of Ronald Knapp of 318 Campbell Street passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015.
Mrs. Knapp was born on December 5, 1936 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Boyd and Edith (Helmick) Neff.
Mrs. Knapp attended the Church of God Prophecy and she retired from Western State Hospital after twenty-seven years of service as a nurses aide.
She enjoyed crocheting, loved people and never met a stranger.
Surviving are two sons, Mike E. Knapp and his wife Penny of Staunton and Ike B. Knapp and his wife Peggy of Fishersville; a daughter, Susie L. Knapp of KS; a brother, Jim Neff and his wife Bev of Staunton; a sister, Anna Elliott of Waynesboro; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David W. Smith.
The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Mrs. Knapps son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Penny Knapp, 318 Campbell Street.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
