Roy Eugene Kirby, 66, of 26 Bolling Heights Lane, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at Envoy Health of Staunton.
Mr. Kirby was born October 13, 1942 in Haywood, California, a son of the late Roy Wayne and Ruth Maxine (Andrews) Kirby.
Roy was a Machinist Supervisor with Universal Impact in Staunton and Dynamic Tool in El Paso, Texas before retiring due to his health. He spent his leisure time with friends, fishing, gardening and working in his yard.
Survivors include a brother, Lorin Wayne Kirby and his wife Neva of Pueblo, Colorado and a sister, Norma Ruth Johnson of Hayesville, Kansas; close and special friends whom he called family; Robert C. Schulz and his wife Sandra of Texas, Troy Schulz and his wife Sarah of Ft. Defiance, Stephanie Lettunich and her husband Bobby of Tornillo, Texas, Derek Schulz of El Paso, Texas and many
other close friends.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m.,Saturday, September 5, 2009 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Harry R. Moore.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
