Rosalee S. Campbell

STAUNTON:

Rosalee (Shirkey) Campbell, 80, widow of William P. Campbell, II, of 36 College Circle passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at her residence.
She was born July 24, 1931 in Rockingham County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Ervin Edward Shirkey and Velma Roberta (Saufley) Shirkey.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of Victory Worship Center and the local Bridge Club. Her favorite pastimes were gardening and driving, which she especially enjoyed.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley N. Shirkey and a sister, Katherine Rossetti.
Survivors include two sons, William P. Bill Campbell III of Verona and David R. Campbell and wife Gloria of Staunton; a brother, Glen Shirkey of Mint Hill, NC; a sister, Helen Miller of Richmond; four grandchildren, Brandon Price Campbell, Cambria Lynn Campbell, Rebecca Lynn Gardiner and Anna Joy Campbell; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Victory Worship Center by Pastor Ray Eppard.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends following the service.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Victory Worship Center, 200 Hammond Lane, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of her arrangements.
