Ronnie Lee Ashley, 75, husband of Phyllis M. Ashley of 891 Scenic Highway, Churchville passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Ashley was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on January 27, 1946, a son of Robert Lee "Bob" and Louise (Jamison) Ashley.

Ronnie served in the United States Navy and worked in construction as a
Pipefitter. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, playing cards, bowling and was a member of the Staunton Bowling League.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ashley was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Ashley.

Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-one years, are three sons, Kevin J. Ashley and his wife Angie of Waynesboro, Robert "Benji" Ashley and Justin L. Ashley and his wife Ashley all of Churchville; two daughters, Abby Gail McDaniel and her husband Scott of Staunton and Rhonda L. Ashley and her husband Andy Schoof of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Barbara Williams of South Carolina and Donna Propst of Staunton; ten grandchildren, Brandi, Jonathon, Jacob, Haley, Kayla, Braden, Emma, Dalton, Trenton, and Gunner; four great-grandchildren, Peyten, Hanna, Jaxon, and Arian; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the residence.
