Ronald Strickler Saufley, 67, husband of Wanda (Bright) Saufley
of 109 Midvale Crossing passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Saufley was born on November 8, 1947 in Staunton, a son of the late Strickler Amon and Pauline Elizabeth (Meyerhoeffer) Saufley.
Ronald was a member of the Staunton First Church of God and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from DuPont in 2002 after thirty-three years as an operator. Mr. Saufley loved spending time with his family, enjoyed his computer, watching television and playing with his pet cat Killer.
Surviving is his wife, Wanda of forty-five years.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 4, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory or the residence at other times.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Staunton First Church of God by Pastor Scott Stedman and Pastor Dale Meyerhoeffer.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Bright, Tim Bright, Kevin Bright, Kenny Cline, Dale Meyerhoeffer, Jerry Jewell, Jerry Huffer and Larry Hull.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Faith Builder Sunday School Class.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
