Ronald Norman Ron Lagerstrom, 79, husband of Annette (Adams) Lagerstrom formerly of Robin Street passed away Tuesday, September
15, 2015 in Brookdale of Staunton.
Ron was born February 23, 1936 in Elgin, Illinois, a son of the late Elmer Norman and Olga Ellen (Stilla) Lagerstrom.
Ron was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Verona. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from the Federal United States Information Agency. Ron enjoyed traveling scenic roads with his wife, he was an avid TV sports fan and restaurant critic. Ron kept up with current events by reading the Washington Post, Time magazine and local newspapers.
Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-four years, are two sons, Ronald A. Ron Lagerstrom and his wife Amanda of Rexburg, ID and N. Mitchell Mitch Lagerstrom and his wife Janice of Houston, TX; a daughter, Lanette Lagerstrom of Manassas; a brother, Verne Lagerstrom of WI; eight grandchildren and one niece and two nephews also survive.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
