Roland Enong Roach, 32, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at his residence 5800 South Chariton Avenue, Los Angeles, California.
Roland was born in the Subic Bay, Philippines on April 18, 1977 and became the adopted son of Elroy W., Jr. and Avelina (Enong) Roach.
In addition to his parents, Roland is survived by his life partner and confidant Brian B. Spitzer of Los Angeles, CA; Brians parents, Stephen and Cynthia Spitzer, and sister Elizabeth Moyer all Staunton; a niece, Courtney and a nephew, Alex.
Roland graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1996. He was attending the Los Angeles Institute of Art of Fashion Design, studying to complete his Bachelor of Art Degree. Roland was
licensed in Cosmetology and had worked in that
field for ten years. He sponsored various charitable
organizations on their fund raising events.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jon Hamric.
The family will receive friends following the service.
It is suggested that those desiring to make memorial contributions to a charity of ones choice in memory of Roland.
