Roger Dale Howdyshell's Obituary
Roger Dale Howdyshell, 56, husband of Cynthia Lynn (Losh) Howdyshell of 65 Hickory Hollow Lane passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Howdyshell was born September 24, 1956 in Staunton, a son of Ethel (Howdyshell) Warren and the late John Crist.
Roger was employed at Augusta Health in the department of Environmental Services. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and John Wayne movies.
In addition to his father, Roger was preceded in death by his step-father, Rudolph Warren.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Staunton and wife of thirty-five years, is a daughter, Jeanie Marie Howdyshell of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Ronald R. Howdyshell of Staunton; a special friend, LeeAnna Goober Fields of Stuarts Draft; a number of aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends also survive.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
Burial will be private.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen VA 23060.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
