Roberta (Hottel) Evans's Obituary

Our beautiful mother, Roberta G. (Hottel) Evans, 80, of 818 Rutherford St. passed December 21, 2013 at her home after a long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Evans was born on May 29, 1933 in Mt. Jackson, VA. She was the daughter of the late Robert Regan Hottel and Virginia (Goode) Hottel Ramsay Heinzman.
She was the wife of Elmer E. Evans. She was the loving mother of three children, Eric E. Evans and Elliot E. Evans both of Staunton, VA. a daughter Anita L. Ronzino and her husband Thomas A. Ronzino of Orlando, FL., loving grandmother to Mary, Lauren, Olivia and Alexander Ronzino; great grandmother to Charlotte Fosky all of Orlando, FL. and her sister Bunny Sherman resides in MD.
Mrs. Evans managed several retail stores and worked many years at JC Penney\u0027s where she retired. She was an accomplished seamstress, fine arts painter and amazing cook. She showed us all the true meaning of commitment and love. She will be missed always.
Funeral services will be private.
