Robert Eugene Snyder, 76, husband of Barbara Snyder of Deerfield, Virginia, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Snyder was born in Pennsylvania on April 27, 1945, the son of the late Ronald E. and Helen (Best) Snyder.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving as a Senior Master Chief. After retirement from the Navy, he moved his family to Deerfield to enjoy the beautiful mountains and horseback riding.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Snyder was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Leib.

Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-five years is a son, Michael Snyder; two grandchildren, Lydia and Vivian Leib; a sister, Shirley Rainford and a brother, Jeffrey Snyder.

A Memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jim Logan.
