Robert Hunter Ralston, 71, husband of Nobue E. Ralston, of Grower Lane, Staunton, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Ralston was born in Staunton, Virginia on October 29, 1950, a son of the late Frank Tyler Ralston, Jr. and Beatrice Gray (Swearingen) Ralston.

Robert was retired from Wilson Trucking. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ralston was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Alan "Timmy" Ralston, and a brother, David G. Ralston.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 44 years, are two sons, Daniel L. Ralston and wife Cynthia, and Darrell S. Ralston, both of Waynesboro; a daughter, Connie Ralston of Middlebrook; two brothers, Frank T. Ralston, III of Verona and Forrest M. Ralston of Lyndhurst; a sister, Donna G. Davis of Lyndhurst and eight grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Oaklawn Memory Gardens in Staunton by Reverend William "Bill" Trice.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
