Robert Wayne Bob Neisser, 53 , husband of Brenda S. (Balser) Neisser of 129 Long Meadow Road, P.O. Box 906, Fishersville passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Neisser was born June 4, 1956, in Orlando, FL, a son of Robert Percy Neisser and the late Mary Lou (Wyand) Neisser Showe.
Bob worked for Knights Inn in Verona, he enjoyed playing golf, baseball, traveling and eating his wifes cooking. He was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School class of 1974 and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp for eleven years, serving his country during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Neisser was preceded in death by a son, Jason L. Neisser.
Surviving in addition to his father of Hagerstown, Md. and his wife to whom he married on May 2, 1988, survivors include two daughters, Tiffany Neisser of Fishersville and Erica Neisser of Arkansas; a step-son, Christopher B. Balser fiance Nicole Glenn of Verona; step-mother, Mrs. Virginia (Tabler) Neisser of Hagerstown, MD; father and mother-in-law, John and Joyce Balser of Staunton; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Steven W. Neisser of FL and Bradley S. Neisser and his wife Beth Ann of Hagerstown, MD; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lori A. Barton and her husband Donald and Kerri L. Carbaugh and her husband Merle all of Hagerstown, MD; two granddaughters, Kiera Balser and Kirstin Easter; brother-in-law, James R. Balser of Staunton and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Warren Knott.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial will be private.
