Robert Jordan Hizer's Obituary
Robert Jordan Hizer, 86, husband of Geneva Grace (Tingler) Hizer, of Verona passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Envoy of Staunton.
Mr. Hizer was born in Alderson, West Virginia on September 7, 1934 a son of the late Wheeler and Nellie Hizer.
Robert worked for Smith's Transfer for 38 years as a truck driver and later for Red Front Supermarket.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Frances Michael and two brothers, Charles and Calvin Hizer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Charles Holliday and his wife, Toni of Churchville, Wayne Hizer and his wife, Diane of Bridgewater, and Bobby E. Hizer and his wife, Lisa of Fishersville; one sister, Janice of West Virginia; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor William "Bill" Trice.
(Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all current guidelines and restrictions will be followed.)
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, Virginia is in charge of his arrangements.
