Robert Gene Gibson, 79, of Maine Circle, Staunton passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Gibson was born in Kentucky on September 18, 1943, the son of the late Lillian Gibson.

Robert was employed with Food Lion as a store clerk.

Surviving, is his companion, Shirley J. Spradlin of Staunton; a son, Rob Gibson of Omaha, NE; a daughter, Tonia Williams of Crawfordsville, IN; and a number of grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Reverend William "Bill" Trice.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
