Richard Montgomery "Rick" Gordon, 77, husband of Karen Vaught-Gordon of Middlebrook, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Gordon was born on May 2, 1940 in Augusta County, a son of the late Ollie and Earline (Showalter) Gordon.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gordon was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Gordon.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Justine Vaught-Poole and husband Mark; Paw Paw's boys, Jackson and Jordan; a son, Allen Gordon; granddaughter, Tanna; siblings, Tommy and Brenda and their families; Karen's family: Mickey, Natalie, and Emily; Kenny and Jessica; Jeff, Terri, Brad, Daniel, and Brittany; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Gordon; and hunting partner, Dodi Landes.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 in the Old Providence ARP Church in Spottswood.

A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Hermon Cemetery, 158 Mt. Hermon Road, Middlebrook by Rev. Patrick Malphrus with military honors provided by the United States Army.
