Richard Bryant Buggs Neil, 35, of 2515 West Beverly Street, passed away Thursday, (December 3, 2009) at his residence.
Mr. Neil was born on June 29, 1974 in Staunton, a son of Arthur R. Neil, Jr. and Bonnie S. (Harris) Neil.
Buggs was employed with G.R. Campbell Trucking as a truck driver.
He was a member of the Verona Moose Lodge #2172 and Staunton Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
In addition to his mother of Staunton and his father of New Market, Mr. Neil is survived by a daughter, Haley N. Neil of Madison Heights; his uncle, Jim Harris of Staunton and a special friend and mother of his daughter, Melinda Powell of Madison Heights.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Peter Grimm.
Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
Active pallbearers will be Tony Wolfe, John Keys, Danny Myers, Tony Campbell, Tony Red Dog Sorrells, Julian Flesher and Danny Fisher.
