Renna Marion Shelnutt, Jr., 82, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Shelnutt was born in Monterey, Virginia on December 6, 1941, a son of the late Renna Marion Shelnutt, Sr. and Lucy Mae (Turner) Shelnutt Campbell.

Renna was employed with Vector Industries, a veteran of the United States Army, and attended Madison College. He enjoyed playing guitar, bicycling, walking and reading.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Shelnutt was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Paige Campbell and a sister, JoAnne Locklear.

Surviving, is a brother, Chip Shelnutt and his wife, Janet of Staunton; a niece and three nephews.

A private family service will be held.
