STAUNTON:
Rejana Mae (Church) Portl, 62, widow of Lawrence Frederick Portl, Sr. of 90 Greenview Drive, passed away
Tuesday (May 26, 2009) at her residence.
Rejana was born October 31, 1946 in North Carolina, the daughter of the late Worth and Anna Lee (Trivett) Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Portl was preceded in death by an older brother, Worth Kerry Church.
Survivors include a son, Steven Douglas Elliott of Fredericksburg, Va.; two daughters; Tracy Lynn Reid of Lenior, North Carolina and Jana Portl of Silver City, New Mexico; a step-son; Lawrence F. Portl, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a step-daughter; Shannon Portl of Silver City, New Mexico; three brothers; Ronnie L. Church of Staunton, Va., Alton G. Church and Len Richard Church both of King George, Va.; two sisters; Rhonda Gail Collier of King George, Va. and Rena Elaine Minton of Millers Creek, North Carolina; and six grandchildren also survive.
In conjunction with Rejanas mothers funeral, services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Barney Hampton Funeral Home Chapel in Boone, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton, Va. is in charge of her arrangements.
