Regina Dale "Jeanie" (Robertson) Herring, 72, of Greenville, loving mother of two, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away in the early hours of Monday, February 20, 2023 after a short courageous battle with lung cancer.

Regina was born July 11, 1950 in Staunton, Virginia.

She was influenced by her beautiful mother, the late Marion Bartley Robertson and was a daddy's girl to the late Roy Dale Robertson, Sr.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Mark Herrin, Sr. and a brother, Leo Wilson Combs.

Mrs. Herring was a wonderful mother to her two children, a son, Eric D. Mason and a daughter, Heather R. Herring. She was thrilled to become a grandmother and leaves behind four grandchildren, Claire Ann Herring, Kaden Tyler Herring, Dakota William Boyers and Isaac Xavier Regi. Her heart got bigger at the arrival of her great-grandson, Liam Mark Richard Turner. Also surviving, is a brother, Barry Gene Robertson of Kure Beach, NC.

Regina was employed at Orchard Creek Plaza in Raphine, Virginia where she worked for several years, until she became ill. In her free time, she loved tending to her flower beds and filling them with outdoor lights. She had a great love for the beach, from Virginia Beach to Clear Water.

At Mrs. Herring's request, there will be no services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
