Regina Elizabeth (Paxton) Ham, 92, widow of William Henry Ham, Jr. of 410 Glen Avenue passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 in the Shenandoah Nursing Home in Fishersville following a short illness.
Mrs. Ham was born December 16, 1917 in Augusta County, VA, a daughter of the late John Gardner Paxton, Sr. and Nema (Almond) Paxton.
Regina was a life member of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Staunton. She was a homemaker, housewife, was known for her love of growing flowers and being a hardworking lady.
In addition to her parents and husband, Regina was preceded in death by her brother, John Gardner Paxton, Jr.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda Cindy H. Glenn and her husband Donald E. of Waynesboro; a sister, Theda (Paxton) Raudenbush of Staunton; a granddaughter, Michele G. Norford and her husband Ken; two great grandchildren, Ashlyn and Kayley Norfold; and a special niece Paula Raudenbush of Fredericksburg also survives.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor Robert D. McCarty.
