Rebecca Louise Joey (Johnson) Mulloy, 56, of 802 Robertson Street passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by those that loved her, after a long illness.
Rebecca was born in Richmond on February 2, 1958, a daughter of the late Hersey Fauber and Virginia L. (Smith) Bottenfield.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Bell and Oliver Buchanan.
Survivors include a son, Dustin Mulloy Johnson of MD; a daughter Nancy Alace of NJ; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Simmons and husband Garry, Brenda Lou Shoemaker, and Sheila Campbell and husband Herbert; three brothers, Eddie Johnson, Bobby Bottenfield, and Kevin Bottenfield; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; Rebecca is also survived by her partner, Doug Goodson who loved her and was her caregiver, his mother, Yvonne Goodson and the Goodson family; and her former husband, Steve Mulloy, who was always there and is very dear to the family.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at Bethel Church, 563 Bethel Green Road, Staunton by the Pastor David Shearer.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
