Reba May (Bodkin) Hahn, 101, widow of William Randall Hahn, of White Oak Drive in Verona, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Mrs. Hahn was born in Bridgewater, Virginia on January 16, 1920 a daughter of the late Lester Noon and Bessie May (Propst) Bodkin.

Mrs. Hahn was an active member of Spring Hill ECO Presbyterian Church and sang in the church choir until she was 99 years of age. She also taught Sunday school for 35 years, was an Elder of the Church and graciously served in the kitchen for decades. Mrs. Hahn retired in 1981 from DuPont after 40 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and reading her bible. Mrs. Hahn was devoted to her daughter, church, and in later years the care of her three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hahn was preceded in death by twin sisters and their husbands, Charles and Fleta Shiflet, Charles and Cleta Heatwole, two sisters-in-law, Faye Sampson and her husband Walter D. and Patsy Nygaard.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Hahn) Smith and her husband Terry L. of Verona; three grandchildren, Michelle S. Fix and her husband Nevin H., III, Ronald W. Smith and Sheriff Donald L. Smith; two great-grandchildren, Paige L. Fix and Parker C. Fix; a brother-in-law, Maurice "Arnie" Nygaard; a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and anytime at the residence of her granddaughter, Michelle Fix, 149 Moffett Branch Road, Churchville.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Spring Hill ECO Presbyterian Church by Reverend Todd Lilley with livestreaming on Facebook at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church-ECO.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Sheriff Donald L. Smith, Ronald W. Smith, Nevin H. Fix, III, Keith Sampson, Richard Jaques, Adam Drum, Harry Scott Drum, Michael Drum, Walter (Buddy) Sampson, Billy Shiflet, Charles Shiflet, Jr. and Jeff Nygaard.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Choir and the Ladies Bible Class.

It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Spring Hill ECO Presbyterian Church, 4141 Spring Hill Road, Staunton, VA 24401.
