Randy Martin Garth, 73, husband of Kathy Garth, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Garth was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on February 21, 1953, a son of the late Walter Martin Garth and Peggy Jean Garth.

Randy retired from Hershey following 35 years of service as a Control Room Operator. He was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed spending his free time golfing, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors whenever he was able.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Garth was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Garth; and step-son, Robbie Hutchinson.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 45 years, is a step-daughter, Marnie Painter and her husband, Andy; a brother, Mike Garth and his wife, Patricia; five grandchildren, Jacob Painter, Austin Painter and his wife, Ashton, Kaitlyn Painter, Daniel Hutchinson, and Destiny Hutchinson; and three great-grandchildren, Fern Painter, Nelli Painter, and Jodan Hutchinson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026 at Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Stephanie Bradley.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
