Randolph Waddy, 83, of Miles Jackson Road, Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 in Staunton Post Acute Care Center.

Mr. Waddy was born in Washington, D.C. on February 10, 1940, a son of the late Charlie Waddy and Ruth (Spicer) Williams.

Randolph retired as a machine operator for International Paper and was a member of Way of The Cross Baptist Church.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Waddy was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Waddy and Charles Williams; and three sisters, Lillie Mae Hill, Maude Williams, and Mildred Sims.

Surviving, are four daughters, Cheryl Grooms of Richmond, Lisa Maynard of Louisa, Joyce Waddy of Kents Store, and Dawn Dawson of Palmyra; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023 in Way of The Cross Baptist Church Cemetery by Reverend Karen Cooper.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
