Randell Bailey "Randy" Benson, 76, husband of Beatrice Frye "Bea" Benson of Fishersville passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at The Retreat in Fishersville.

Mr. Benson was born in Craigsville, Virginia on April 8, 1945, son of the late Homer Benson and Mattie (Campbell) Benson Campbell.

Randy served his country in the United States Army and attended West Waynesboro Church of Christ. He was employed at Smith's Transfer for almost twenty years and retired in 2011 from Wayne Oxygen in Waynesboro. He loved music and singing at church and in various church groups.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher "Bean" Randell Benson.

Surviving in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Tonya Skone of Pennsylvania; a grandson, William Benson; a sister, Janet Robertson; and a niece, Susan Wood and a nephew, Jonathan "J.T." Robertson.

A Memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021 at West Waynesboro Church of Christ by Pastor Chad Grondin.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
