Ralph B. Rowe, Jr., 65, of 1131-A Montgomery Ave., passed away
Saturday, February 6, 2010 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Ralph was born on October 31, 1944 in Augusta County, a son of the late Ralph B. Rowe, Sr. and Mae V. (Rexrode) Rowe.
Mr. Rowe was employed in the maintenance department of Parkhill Apts. for the past ten years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, stock car racing and loved Blue Grass music.
In addition to his Dad, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Rowe.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Staunton is a son, Darrell Wayne Rowe and his fiance Amber Anderson of Swoope; a daughter Lisa Ann Smallwood of Staunton; two brothers, Jerry Rowe and his wife Helen of Mint Springs and Ronald Rowe and his wife Jean of Staunton; a sister Gail Taliafero and her husband John of Staunton; a sister-in-law, Nina Rowe of Verona; three grandchildren, Heather Rowe, Willy Rowe and Tyler Smallwood; one great-grandchild, Aniyah Martinez;
his former wife, Gloria Rowe and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He also leaves behind a special friend Christy Shelton and will meet his best friend in heaven, Clyde Marshall.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bobby Campbell.
The family will receive friends following the service and at other times the home of his daughter, Lisa Smallwood, 205 Overbrook Street in Staunton.
