Phyllis Christine "Sadie" (Pleasants) Truxell, 73, widow of Victor Lee Truxell, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Truxell was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on December 14, 1946, daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Blackwell) Pleasants.
She graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in 1968. She was a housewife and loving mother and worked as a beautician in various hair salons and maintained her license until 2012.
Mrs. Truxell is survived by her children, Daniel Paul "Dan" Truxell (April) of Goshen and Victoria (Truxell) Seifert (Jens) of Greenville; and two grandchildren, Gary L. Gibson and Tyler Truxell.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 in the Old Providence Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Spottswood by Pastor Patrick Malphrus.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Wesley Truxell, Tommy Truxell, Ronnie Truxell, Jay Truxell, Mark Wade, and Don Gibson.
