Phyllis Zabrowski, 86, widow of Edward Keith Zabrowski of 173 Heather Lane passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Zabrowski was born on February 21, 1930 in Burnsville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Harry M. and Brownie (McCune) Roberts.

Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of the Newcomers Club. She enjoyed painting and playing the card game Bunco.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stokley Roberts and Miller Roberts; and a sister, Doris Roberts.

Surviving are three sons, Edward Lawrence Zabrowski of Staunton, Michael Joseph Zabrowski of Falls Church and Harold Thomas Zabrowski of Pembroke, Florida; a brother, Clemmer Roberts of Staunton; a sister, Harriett VanDusen of Ashland; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial service for family members will be conducted 12:00 noon on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in the Spring Lakes Club House, 48 Meadow Glen Drive, Staunton.

The family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. at her residence.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
