Phyllis Jean (Wolfe) Deaver, 71, wife of Albert H. Deaver, Jr. of 812 Patton Street passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Deaver was born on June 28, 1944 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Clyde Anderson and Margaret Elizabeth (Tillman) Wolfe.
Mrs. Deaver was a member of the Jollivue United Methodist Church, was a wonderful wife and housekeeper.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 47 years is a son, Albert H. Deaver, III of Staunton and a special friend, Judy Smiley of Raphine.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 in Thornrose Cemetery by Rev. Janet C. Knott.
A memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon in the Jollivue United Methodist Church with the family receiving friends following the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
