Phyllis Lee Rinky-Dink (Robertson) Brock, 62, of 708 Middlebrook Avenue, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2010 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Robertson was born September 26, 1947 in Staunton, VA, a
daughter of the late George and Inez (Mitchell) Robertson.
Phyllis was a GED teacher for the Augusta County Adult Learning Center, a member of the Faith Christian Church and was a member of the Ladies Club and the Ladies Circle. She loved to crochet and her pets.
Survivors include her fiance, Dickie Shifflett; her special adopted family of friends, Carolyn E. Knott, Amanda K. Garcia and Matthew Armstrong all of Staunton. Phyllis is also survived by her special pet dog Ebony and special cat Patches.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Daniels, Danny Smith, Henry Lee Hicks, Ryan Estes, Buster Roop, Walter Eggleston, and Steve Rawley
The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010
in the Coffman Funeral Home \u0026 Crematory or at other times the residence of her friend, Carolyn Knott, 1009-A Pocahontas Street, Staunton.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Betsy M. Knott and Teacher Robert L. Gaylor.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
