Peggy Sue (Chandler) Ralston, 59, widow of Gary Wayne Ralston, of Maine Circle, Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Ralston was born in Staunton, Virginia on January 15, 1962, a daughter of the late Randolph "Rand" Bartley and Bernice (Campbell) Bartley.

Peggy was a selfless, Christian woman. She was a member of the Waynesboro Moose # 1309 and retired from Valley Mission Thrift Store as a Sales Clerk. Peggy enjoyed cooking, swimming, camping, spending time outdoors, and being surrounded by her family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ralston was preceded in death by two brothers, David T. Chandler and Gary R. Bartley.

Surviving, is a son, Jeremy D. Palmer of Verona; a brother, Charles Lee Chandler of Staunton; a sister, Sharon Mutherspaw of Staunton; five grandchildren, Kylie Palmer, Michelle Palmer, Emily Palmer, Jermiah Palmer and James Palmer; best friend, Ruthie Wimer and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Augusta Memorial Park by Reverend John Allen.

The family requests that masks or face coverings be worn.
