Peggy Jean (Ingram) Bosserman, 78, widow of Tom Edward Bosserman, of 10979 Cowpasture River Highway, Millboro, Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Bosserman was born on November 24, 1944 in Bath County, Virginia, a daughter of the late James Marshall and Frances Ceverious (Kennedy) Ingram.

Mrs. Bosserman was a member of the Millboro Calvary Baptist Church.

Peggy fostered for 31 years from 1973 to 2004 through People Places and Social Services of Augusta, nurturing over 300 foster children. Mrs. Bosserman loved time spent with her family and reading her Bible.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bosserman was preceded in death by a brother, James Arnold Ingram, Sr. and a sister, Nancy Lee (Ingram) Brooks.

Survivors include three sons, Barry Bosserman of Millboro, Mark Bosserman, Sr. and his wife Kathleen of Swoope and Kevin Bosserman and  his wife Stacey of Millboro; four daughters, Sandra Kay Bosserman of Staunton and her partner, Robbie Shifflett of Dyke, Virginia, Thelma Ingram of Millboro, Colleen B. Price and her husband George of Buchanan and Cathy Price of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Samuel Ingram of Millboro; a sister, Barbara Loyd of Mt. Solon; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor John Green.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Mark Bosserman, Jr., Evan Bosserman, Colby Bosserman, J. J. Ingram, Dakota Price, Hunter Price, Walker Price and Fisher Abbott.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Carey and Johnny Altizer.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
