Peggy Ann (Farish) Mizer, 79, of 1852 Stuarts Draft Hwy, Stuarts Draft, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at her residence.

Ms. Mizer was born in Albemarle County, Virginia on January 5, 1943, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Farish, Sr. and Neva Mae (Sprouse) Farish.

Peggy was a self-employed caregiver. She enjoyed flower gardening, baking, her pets, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Mizer was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee "Bob" Farish, Jr. and her companion, Harry Eugene "Gene" Mizer.

Surviving, are three sons, Boyd E. Howdyshell, II of Mint Spring, Michael W. Howdyshell and his wife Kelly of Staunton, and Harry S. Mizer of Stuarts Draft; a daughter, Missy Howdyshell and her fiancé Ernie Tackett of Stuarts Draft; a step-son, Timmy E. "Tim" Mizer and his wife Lisa of Swoope; a step-daughter, Sherri A. (Mizer) Langford of Staunton; a brother, Oscar Farish of Dyke, VA; two sisters, Lillian "Sassy" Spradlin of Scottsville and Neva "Pat" Farish of Charlottesville; five grandchildren, Matt, B.J., Natasha, Shelby and Aaron; and two great-grandchildren, Corinne and Lilly.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Ms. Mizer's residence from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
