Mrs. Pearl Virginia (Keller) Klotz, 87, was born on March 29, 1925 in Staunton, went back to her Heavenly Father on February 13, 2013. She was greeted by both parents, George William Keller and Augusta (Dull) Keller; a loving husband, Milton Stuart Klotz; and three siblings, Frances E. Keller, William A. Keller and Rose Ella Keller.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Karen Lee Klotz; Julie Klotz Leatherbury and Richard Jacob Klotz; her grandchildren, Stuart Jacob Leatherbury and his wife Natalie, Brooke Wilson Leatherbury and Kelsey Madison Klotz; a great grandson, Richard Holden Leatherbury; a sister, Georgia (Keller) Nelson; and many nieces and nephews.
Pearl was married to Milton S. Klotz on October 23, 1949, which started an exciting journey through life together. She was a member of the Staunton Garden Club, while her children were still young. She was also very active in the local Republican Party. Although not a member, she was active in the sisterhood of the Temple House of Israel. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church.
A private graveside service will be conducted Sunday, February 17, 2013.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brightview for the care of their mother and grandmother over the past couple years. Also, thanks to Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for caring for her in the last days of her life.
