Paula Paige (Dressler) Boone, 69, wife of Preston Lee Boone of Staunton, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Boone was born in Alleghany County, Virginia on May 20, 1951, a daughter of the late Harold Benton and Mary Ann (Taylor) Dressler.
Paula moves on to the next stage in her eternal journey, leaving behind a life well lived. A life full of adventure and travel, dreams realized, hopes dashed, and love lost and found. Her years were full of joys and disappointments, all the ups and downs that life throws at us, all the experiences that make us who we are, all the experiences that made her a strong and determined woman.
During her life, Paula was a college graduate, insurance professional, amateur artist, a talented carpenter, gallery owner, business entrepreneur, and gourmet cook. Many of these talents were supported by professionals she researched to provide her the perfections she demanded in her finished product. She also had a good eye for photography and a genuine talent for writing as was exhibited in her blog writings.
Paula could best be remembered for her dogged determination as she always attacked a new goal with foresight and focused attention. Her adventuresome spirit took her to many foreign locations allowing her to experience ancient cities and architectures and diverse cultures. Her gentle spirit allowed her to make friends quickly and her beautiful presence and grace endeared many to remember her throughout her personal and professional career.
Wife, sister, friend. Paula lived a full and rich life and exited this world with grace and dignity. May she Rest in Peace in the presence of her spiritual family and living arms of our Savior Jesus Christ.
