Paul Franklin Stoneburner's Obituary

Paul F. Stoneburner, 84, of 207 Fraser Lane, died peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born May 9, 1928 in Staunton to the late Roland Lee and Julia Agnes Stoneburner. He was raised by his two loving aunts Delia Roberson and Lilly Roudabush.

Paul served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Cherryvale United Methodist Church. Prior to his retirement from R.R. Donnelley, Paul worked in the printing industry for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Betty Lotts Stoneburner; a daughter Sharol R. Stoneburner of Roanoke, a son Neal F. Stoneburner of Staunton, and two special nieces, Charlotte Ellinger and Margaret Baker.

A memorial service will be conducted at Cherryvale United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 1, 2013 with the Rev. D. F. Barnwell officiating.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude to the Augusta Health nurses and doctors and to the Hospice of the Shenandoah for their care and kindness.
