Paul D. Hartman, Sr.'s Obituary

Paul Daniel Hartman, Sr., 55, husband of Kathy (Graham) Hartman passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Hartman was born in Nelson County on July 21, 1957, a son of the late Plum Davis Campbell and Fannie (Martin) Hartman.

Paul was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith and a member of the Staunton Moose Lodge. Mr. Hartman enjoyed antique cars, NASCAR racing and watching professional wrestling. He was known by his friends and family as a man with a very strong work ethic and was self employed as a contractor.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hartman was preceded in death by seven brothers.

Surviving in addition to his wife of eight years are two sons, Paul Hartman, Jr. and Matthew Hartman; four step-sons, Roy W. Billy Lovejoy, Willie Lovejoy, Lucas Martin and Joey Martin; four step-daughters, Julie Knicely, Caitlin Kellison, Morgan Kellison and Tonya Simmons; four brothers, John W. Proffitt, Jr., Plum Harvey Campbell, John L. Campbell and Harry Delmas Campbell; six sisters, Nancy Tinnell, Rev. Shirley Ann Goolsby, Mary Coffey, Corennia Tomlin, Betty Mitchell and Juanita Burnley; seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in the Jonesboro Cemetery, Roseland, VA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Jonesboro Baptist Church.
