Patricia (Simmons) Hinkle, 66, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Ms. Hinkle was born in Prince William County, Virginia on August 5, 1958, the daughter of the late James Arlie Simmons and Virginia Phebie (Maconayghey) Simmons.

Patricia retired as Assistant Manager of the Staunton News Leader. She was a life member of the Verona Moose Lodge and a member of Woman of the Moose. She enjoyed playing bingo and crafting.

Surviving, are three sons, James Hinkle and his wife, Lynne and Timothy Hinkle and his fiancé, Kristy Gibson both of Staunton, and Nicholas "Adam" Hinkle of Greenville; a daughter, Jessica (Hinkle) Glass and her husband, Corey of Greenville; her significant other, Thomas "Skiddy" Drumheller; two brothers, Arthur and Michael Simmons; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a special friend, Sharon Bosserman; and her fur-baby, "Blueberry".

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.
