Pamela Ann Mammie (Doyle) Stuples, 65, widow of Nelson Clayton Tink Stuples of 91 Chestnut Avenue passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Also known as Pam, Mrs. Stuples was born on August 2, 1950 in Craigsville, a daughter of the late Donald Blake Tucker and Marie Rita (Shifflett) Doyle.
Mrs. Stuples was a member of the Bells Valley Methodist Church and previously worked for Stillwater Mills as a loom operator. She was a Girl Scout leader for eighteen years with her best friend, Wilma. Pam enjoyed yard sales, thrift stores, watching the Hallmark Channel and Food Network. She also enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, going to the hunting camp and her pets.
Mammie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was very active in her grandchildrens school activities.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stuples was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Butch Doyle, a niece, Kathy (Shifflett) Kisling and a great-niece, Lauren Dawn Shifflett.
Surviving is a daughter, Tina Marie Burnette and her husband Roger, Jr. of Craigsville; four sisters, Nancy Doyle, Brenda Martin and her husband H.T. and Gail Cash and her husband Hampton all of Craigsville; Bernice Shifflett and her husband Russell of Elkton; a sister-in-law, Connie Doyle of Staunton; four grandchildren, Ashleigh, Clayton Bubba, Mark and Joseph; and her nieces and nephews, Stephen, Shane and Krystal, Kimberly, Tristan, Brittany, and Ryleigh also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Terry Adkins and Mr. Mat Acord.
Burial will follow in the Craigsville Community Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Ashleigh Burnette, Clayton "Bubba" Burnette, Mark Pearce, Joseph Harris, Stephen "T.T." Martin, Cody Black, Bobby Benson, James Hicks, Jimmy Widner, Mike Widner, John See and Mark Showalter. Honorary pallbearers will be Hampton Cash, H.T. Martin, Burl Bridge and Russell Shifflett.
The family would like to express a special Thank You to Dr. Robert Kennedy for the care given to Pam during her illness.
