Obituary for David "Calvin" Marshall

David “Calvin” Marshall, 83, husband of Edna May (Hartman) Marshall, of 316 Monument Drive, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Marshall was born on July 17, 1934 in Churchville, a son of the late David Rudolph and Phoebe Jane (Allman) Marshall.
David was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church and retired from the Staunton City Public Works in 1996 after 43 years of service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Syvilla Waugh and a brother, Lynwood Marshall.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 52 years are two step-sons, Kenneth Hartman and his wife Darlene of Verona, and Michael Hartman of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Frances Michael and her husband Donald of Mount Solon; and numerous step-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends anytime at the residence.
A private graveside service will be conducted in the Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
